SPELLS SUMMER WRITING CAMP 2019
This summer, in an effort to give more children the opportunity to participate in our summer programming, we are restricting each camper to a maximum of THREE (3) camp weeks. If you register your child for more than 3 of our camp weeks, we will contact you to find out which 3 camp weeks your child will be attending; if we are unable to reach you for confirmation in a reasonable amount of time, we reserve the right to adjust your registration to make it comply with this policy. - Kids v. Food (July 15–29)
- Take Me Out to the Ballgame (July 22–26)
- The Time Machine (July 29–August 2) *PLEASE NOTE: this camp week will be held in a satellite location at 2223 E. Dauphin Street @ Summerfield-Siloam United Methodist Church in Fishtown, NOT in our usual camp location on 2nd Street.
To register multiple children for our camp, simply fill out one order form and "purchase" as many spots and deposits as you need. Please be sure to indicate the names and ages of each child you are registering in the appropriate box, and which camp weeks each one will be attending.
Your registration is only valid if you pay the refundable deposit at the top of the registration form (or via mail to our offices at 1415 N. 2nd Street, Suite 22B). Registrations may be adjusted/canceled if we do not receive your deposit in a timely manner or your child is not within the age range of the requested camp week.
A refundable deposit of $25 plus a nominal processing fee is required for each camp registrant, whether registering for one week or multiple weeks. (In other words, separate deposits are NOT required for multiple camp weeks. However, multiple deposits ARE required for multiple children.) WE CANNOT CONFIRM YOUR REGISTRATION UNTIL WE HAVE RECEIVED THE DEPOSIT.
Upon request within ONE week of your child's last day of camp, your deposit can be returned to you after your child has attended the camp week(s) for which he or she is registered, though most families elect to donate their deposit to help fund the camp. Should the registrant fail to show up for a confirmed program, cancel the registration less 1 week prior to the scheduled start date, OR fail to request the refund within 1 week of the child's last registered day of camp, we will process your deposit into our general operating fund.
Once the deposit has been forfeited, all future confirmed registrations will be void and another deposit will be required to re-register for additional weeks of camp, pending availability.
